TIME TOAST IN CLASS

This week in our English class with 3º ESO students, we utilized the tool TIME TOAST. Taking advantage of March 8th, International Women's Day, the students researched notable English or American women who made significant impacts throughout history.  Activity:  Creation of a Timeline of IMPORTANT WOMEN IN HISTORY (UK, USA) with TimeToast for International Women's Day (March 8).  LEARNING OBJECTIVES  Introduce students to English/American culture and the importance of some women in history. Encourage research and teamwork while gathering information. Improve presentation and communication skills by using multimedia to enrich the timeline. On the other hand, if they're reading a sad story, they might feel empathetic or even teary-eyed. How we feel while reading often depends on the content of the text and how it resonates with our emotions and experiences. When it comes to reading in different languages, our preferences may change. For example, someone might enjoy reading fantasy novels in English but prefer historical fiction in their native language. Factors like language proficiency, cultural background, and personal interests can influence these choices. Additionally, the format in which we read has evolved over time.
